Your Online Source for Foam-Bodied Bugs for Warmwater Fish

DP Poppers are hand-tied using closed-cell foam cylinders and shaped popper and slider bodies, quality hooks and Whiting hackle.  Additionally we use soft rabbit fur for tails and round natural rubber for legs for added action.

Why use foam-bodied bugs?  Here are a couple of good reasons:

Reason #1:  Unlike cork, balsa wood, or hard plastic bug bodies, foam bodies are soft and feel more 'lifelike', causing fish to hold the bug longer before spitting it out, thus giving the angler additional time to set the hook.

Reason #2:  Foam bodies are more durable.  How many days have you spent fishing rocky streams and stump infested ponds and beat most of the paint off of your bugs?  Nor  problem with DP Poppers' bugs.  Why?  Simple, there's no paint to chip off!
